Create a Chinese Food Allergy Card

Make a Chinese food allergy card with personalized allergen details. Choose Simplified or Traditional Chinese and preview a digital or printable card.

Your foods, in Chinese and English.

Choose Simplified or Traditional Chinese explicitly. Ask about sauces and cooking ingredients; the name of a dish may not tell you what is in it.

The Hong Kong Centre for Food Safety provides ingredient examples and advice for communication between waiting staff and cooks. Use the ingredient wording on the card to start that conversation. Crustaceans and molluscs are separate choices here; select the specific foods you need to communicate.

Discuss the actual dish.

The Hong Kong Centre for Food Safety provides ingredient examples and advice for communication between waiting staff and cooks. Use the ingredient wording on the card to start that conversation. Crustaceans and molluscs are separate choices here; select the specific foods you need to communicate.

Show your card before ordering, allow staff to check with the kitchen, and ask about ingredients and preparation separately. Do not assume that a familiar dish has the same recipe in another restaurant.

How to use your Chinese card

  1. Check each selected food against your own allergy information.
  2. Read the English reference and have the translated wording checked.
  3. Save the PNG offline or print a copy.
  4. Show staff before choosing a dish and ask them to confirm the ingredients.

Personal notes are displayed as typed, without automatic translation. A contact field is optional. Severe-reaction and cross-contact statements appear only when selected by you.

Do I need an account?

No. Checkout uses your email for the receipt and a private access link. There are no subscriptions or credit balances.

Are the translations professionally reviewed?

Professional review has not been recorded for the current draft version. Official sources support our guidance; they do not certify these translations. Paid checkout is enabled only for a version explicitly approved by the operator.

Does a card make a meal safe?
