Food Allergy Translation: What to Include

Translate the foods and the communication request precisely. Avoid broad labels that hide important distinctions.

Name the foods

Use the specific ingredient names you need. Tree nuts, peanuts, fish, crustaceans and molluscs should not be merged into an ambiguous single category.

Keep a reference line

Bilingual text helps you check what was selected. It does not itself prove a translation is accurate.

Handle personal notes carefully

Personal notes remain in the language you type. They are not silently translated or sent to a model. Ask a qualified translator to check any notes needed by the reader.

Record review honestly

Official sources support the editorial guidance. They do not endorse our product or certify our translations. We publish the content version so a review can identify exactly which wording was checked.
